Who is the mother of Adolphe Aubuchon on this record? Translation help please.

I'm trying to 'translate' this name--it looks confusing to me. The mother's Christian name seems to be Albina(?) and I've no clue on the surname. Father is Napoleon Aubuchon. Help?

Hi, it looks like my sister in law descends from Mathias Beauclair and Rozanna Martel through their daughter Clara Margaret Beauclair Byron. Clara married Leo William Byron. My sister in law descends from Clara and Leo's only son Gerald (Jerry) William Byron 1928-2006. Gerald had several sisters, to date I list Lorraine Byron Mason 1928-2012, Madeline, and Phyllis Margaret Byron 1932-2006

BMS2000 shows a marriage on 17-09-1906 in St-Roch parish, Rock Forest, Quebec, between Napoléon Boisvert (son of Napoléon Boisvert and Delina Gagnon) and Anne Ruel, widow of Arthur Tardif. A note besides the date reads Berlin N. H.

I am looking for infomation on Annie Boisvert, that is her married name, I do not know her maiden name. She was married to Napoleon Boisvert. I would like to find out her maiden name, and if she was married before. All the infor I know on her was that she was born in 1885 in Canada and arrived in the US in 1900. Also would like to know if she was married before Napoleon, as my great grandfather is listed as his step-son in a census report I found, his name was Devila Tardiff.

I am looking for information on my great uncle Alcide Lacharite. He was born November 1900 in Ste. Eulalie Quebec. He lived for many years in Detroit Michigan and I believe he died there between 1958-1967 (but don't know for sure). He lived with his brother Philias in Detroit.

I found a book on the French Voyageurs. It is the "Machinac Notary Book 1806-1818." It list 845 men who powered the large birch bark fur trading canoes westward from Machinac Island. These men had already paddled canoes from Montreal to Mackinac Island and were now being employed to go farther.
I would be happy to look up a name for any interested parties.

My Great-Great grandfather would not allow him to marry my Great Grandmother (she was pregnant) since he was full blood Cajun. Though she was too, he wanted her to Marry some one who was not.

She never spoke his name and the people who did know have all since passed.

She went on to have a daughter (my grand mother). In the little I know I believe it was the only daughter he had. He went on to marry later and had 3 sons.

from my findings the provins family in ireland split with some going to canada and my ancestors going to scotland and some then to australia. The first one spelt his surname provence where he made good in cattle and then sponsered 2 sisters and a brother and their families to australia, they were pattersons,duke and william provins.evan duke

I am looking for the birth record of my great grandfather. Joseph F. Martineau b march 18, 1837 in Levis Quebec. He became a citizen of the US in 1850 and married Maggie LeMieux on June 2, 1868 in Superior, Wisconsin.
The birth date he listed on his marriage certificate and it is on his death certificate. He did not list parents.

My ancestors settled in LaChute and were James Cleland who married a Sarah Neale. The earliest records I have of them is in 1833 a daughter Rachel was born in LaChute. They later moved to St. Jerusalem and I know of two sons born there. William Cleland and Samuel Cleland. Later the family moved to Ontario but I don't know the fate of James Cleland. His wife is buried in Prospect Cemetery in Toronto, Ontario.
Do you have any information on my Cleland's. Any information is greatly appreciated.

i certainly did not check the rulo census, francois died in 1850 and his daughter marie marg. was in montebello and st andre avellin 1827 marr. -she died 1890 Ripon papineau quebec. thanks so much. keep trying.. try to find your francois s father and his details...barb BIA for marie marg. lacharité in st andreaavellin-ottawa-gatineau hull census 1867 and 71 i believe.

Did you say you looked at the 1860 cenus for Richardson Co NE (Rulo City) It's a different spelling yet again but his daughters are on it. They are shown with the Deroin family. I am checking with another family connection (another branch) to see if they have any more info on Francois. My aunt just went into the BIA to look things up, so I'll find out what you need to do since you don't live there. Will let you know. Fran

My question to you would be how do we link our Francois with yours? Because of the lapse from infant to adult hood when he started showing up in census and such there has been no proof of his parentage. We can guess at the dates but need proof. Thanks Diana

mine was born 1776(francois) . He had a son francois, louis and daughter marie louise-then marie marguerite lampron dit lacharité from a native canadian mistress. the other three were from louise rathier dit raymond who must have passed away in 1798 as 1808(10 yrs. later) -my gr.gr. grma was born. quite a lapse.she is on census married to joseph proulx or provost 1827 montebello. she is said sauvagesse on census ottawa gatineau hull . thanks.. barb

francois is the son of my francois who died in 1850 in montebello quebec. my francois was born 1776 eglise (church) st jean baptiste de nicolet, quebec (nicolet is the town). what were the brothers of francois you metion, louis and sister marie louise-i have their birthdates 1795,96 and 98. their mother was louise ratthier or rattier or rathier dit raymond of nicolet. she must have died around 1798 and francois went west to alberta or manitoba and had a girl marie marguerite lampron dit lacharité with native canadian mistress in 1808 on 14 feb. Since I did not put the book together I do not know what came from records or what was passed down. I have not seen the records personally, just the book.
