I'm an American living in Australia doing family history research.
I've noticed that there are birth/marriage/death documents for Antigua, St. Kitts, and other Caribbean areas (where I have some family connections) listed on the Family Search (LDS Church) website.
These are microfilm collections, and apparently are only available in Salt Lake.
Is there no other way to access these records without some convoluted and expensive process with the Mormons?

Not convoluted or expensive, providing there's a Familysearch Center in or nearby the community you live in.
