Help identifying records

I'm doing some research into our church, Friendship Baptist Church in Boyd, Texas. Among some of the old church records were these copies that we believe have something to do with the original deed to our church. I'm not familiar with these types of records and am not sure what I'm looking at. Could someone explain what these records are?

I tried to combine all 8 pages that were copied and stapled together into this one image. Sorry if I didn't splice them perfectly.

Difficult to read, especially on the right side, but it appears there are three documents here:
1) a certification that the Trinity Baptist Church authorized three trustees to purchase land on the church's behalf from the railway company
2) the deed for the sale of the land from the railway company and its mortgage company to the trustees of the church (now called Friendship), which describes the parcel
3) an affidavit from an executive of the railway company confirming that the company sold the land to the church

This is pretty standard for deeds, complicated slightly by the fact the sale was between two organizations rather than people. Hence the additional affidavits.
