I so appreciate you telling me this! Now, I am excited to go see if I can find anything more about what could possibly happened to her!
I do know that when she disappeared, she disappeard from even her own birth family. A cousin who was the daughter of my gggrandmother's brother, and still living, has told me that for years the family held it against my great grandfather that she disappeared. It appears that she did not keep in touch with any of them.
I would love to find her marriage record to my great grandfather, and her immigration records, not sure if her immigration was legal or not, or where they were married. Maybe I will come across them this week, when I go! I have not tried worldcat, I had forgot about that, and the historical society is actually in a library, so that may help.
