In addition to the other suggestion, I would search census records for 1910 ans the daughter would be about 8 then. You could see if other children were born and check the 1920 and 1930 census. Once you start filling in those details, you look back as best you can. Also, check the message boards on other sites and see if someone else is lokoing for that relative, too, or a collateral family. Good luck !
