Is the information you see in the USA? Yes, zip codes have evolved here a bit. I see you are in UK and I am in US. I think our zip system and yours is different. I don't think that zip you mention is obsolete. I will go to another site and run it and do another post. Right now I can't find the link I want. Do you know the city and state you are attaching to? The lower number zip codes start on the East coast and the numbers increase as you go toward the west coast. You can also try going to the US Post office site. We have something called zip plus 4 digits but number of digits you give is enough to hone into an area.
