Yes, agree that Utah "address" indicates Generation Network Company linkage. Pity Generation Network Co cannot go round and lean on them, or get the local Utah authorities to act

Re: OneGreatFamily.com TRICKERY/SCAM
They are still at it. OneGreatFamily WARNING. OGF offers to link gedcom genealogies. To sign up for the 7 day free trial you have to give a valid credit card number. They claim they have a cancellation process but in practice it does not work. Effectively it is an ongoing scam. They did acknowledge my cancel request on 31 Mar 2010 with “press on this link to finalize the request”. This lead to advice to phone the Billing Dept (in USA Mountain Time business hours). This was appears contra to their FAQ #7 where, for non-North American clients, you will be sent a “email describing how to finalize your cancellation”. Never did manage to get through on that phone number. Sent many emails explaining this and requesting cancellation but they still process direct debit at $US 79.95, although the billing period has changed from 31 Mar to 31 Aug each year. They now don’t acknowledge any emails and they offer no other method of communication. Am now taking their on-going direct-debiting up with the banking and law authorities.

Re: OneGreatFamily.com TRICKERY/SCAM
Sadly, I just became a victim through the Archives off shoot of ANC OGF. I have noticed the $59.88 charge on my credit card along with the stated $7.00 something charge for the offshoot site that I had signed up for. Sadly, I didn't understand how to go about canceling and I got rid of my credit card after I got what I needed, not realizing that it was just going to reset back to my credit card. I've called my bank, thinking it was Ancestry.com and told them in short, they're putting in a dispute but I guess I'm going to have to cancel the credit card, because according to everyone else's posts here apparently its hard to win against them. I'd appreciate any more advice you all might have.

Re: OneGreatFamily.com TRICKERY/SCAM
I lodges a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in the US but have spent almost 2 years going around in circles. ONF sent quite unprofessional sounding email responses saying they have thousands of happy customers, as I told them if they are so good why don't they refund when people say they did not want to join after the trial. I hit a brick wall with that one. I urge everyone who has started tracing their family to stay away the site is rubbish anyway and relies on people posting their details to increase it's database.

Re: OneGreatFamily.com TRICKERY/SCAM
I just had a similar thing happen to me. I signed up for a free 7-day trial with Archives.com, which stated I would be charged $9.95 on a monthly bases thereafter. However I was also signed up for One Great Family at the same time and they charge $58.99 for a year subscription. So I guess I am being double charged.
I called to discuss this issue with One Great Family and the customer support representative actually hung up on me.
It is a scam, don't sign up!!!
