Add me to the list. As my wife said, I should have checked them out better. Onegreatfamily.com messed up my account and sent my personal credit card info all over the place. Some guy in Michigan called me last night and told me he had my credit card info come up on his onegreatfamily account. I had to cancel the credit card and now i am on a mission to tell the world.

I agree it's worthless. Luckily I didn't end up paying because I cancelled the next day. Just received another email about matches from them even though I'm not a paying customer. I will see if I can "unsubscribe" from the e-mails.

Doesn't look like I can, aren't they legally obliged to have a way to do that on emails? I went ahead and blocked them instead.

I too have had money stolen from my account. I used a prepaid credit card we use for travel money because it was empty. Then we went away this year and topped it up and guess what they stole $79 from our card. I have e-mail them several time but only got one very stroppy reply. Avois at all costs that is waht I think is best

Oh boy, I can add all the comments together, they just hooked me and won't cancel or refund. I filed a complaint with Compaint Board and there are ALOT of complaints on there about them. I thought they were a part of ancestry.com too and trusted them. They use tricks and whatever, I have actually gotten over 3 phone numbers and they are all different and you go into the site to find out an address, and you won't find one. There is a 'contact us', but no email address. how convenient, I will tell everyone I know to beware of these scam artists. I am on S. Sec and can't afford extra like this. Christina from their office today, said I can't prove it. Well christina, there is such a thing as karma. Complaint Boards is online and you can register the complaint if you want to. good luck everyone.

Update;;;;; I just spoke with my bank and they are doing a dispute form for this amount and to get the charges back. They said under a 'credit law' they are obligated to refund when asked and they will be investigated. the bad thing is I had to cancel my debit card to insure they won't do it again. so I have to wait for a new one, but it will be worth it, I guess. Just thought I would pass it on to you nice people. A shame we have to do this. So dispute it through your bank.

I think that was the site my wife signed up for and had a devil of a time cancelling. Phone calls went directly to voice mail and were never returned. I finally looked up the web hosting company. The person I spoke with there said he couldn't give me any personal information about the owner of the site, but when I explained there was a "wink wink nudge nudge" exchange in which he divulged the info I needed which was the home phone of the owner. Wish I'd saved it.

No surprise this company has an "F" rating with the Utah BBB (http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-reviews/genealogy-services/...). Not only do they make it nearly impossible to cancel, they have written into their terms that they can change things at any time, without notifying their customers. How many of you have noticed the fee increase from $59.95 to $79.95? By the time you do, it will be too late. You see, they claim you signed your rights away with their "Continuous Service Agreement." They can do anything they want, at anytime, and the onus is on their customer's to figure it out. Of course, the only time you find out about the change is when it hits your bank account- and since they don't issue refunds for any reason- you are basically screwed. There is legal precedent (Douglas Vs. Talk America) that makes this illegal; but OGF will not respond to that allegation. Anyone up for a Class Action Suit?
