I find that Family Tree Maker 2011 is a pile of junk. Ever since I got it I have had nothing but trouble that has required me to have costantly go into the programe and make changes. The latest problem "Authentication with server failed" has recently cropped up. And the makers of family tree maker have no solution for it. But they are quick to blame other factors. The thing is it worked relitivly well once I made the manual changes as directed when I first installed it. Nothing has changed on my system or with my provider to cause me to believe that the problem lies anywhere othere then with the software. Also let me make it clear I do not usualy blame software until I have exhasted all alternative ways to correct a problem. Having said that has anyone been able to fix the problem???
