Hello, this post in not related to the Ancestry.com service but my officemate and I have been having a "discussion" about a genealogy term for a while now and we've decided that this forum may be the best place to have the debate settled. So I'm hoping you all can help shed some light on this!
The question is this: I am married to my wife which makes my wife's sister my sister-in-law correct? We both believe that to be true, but the question is, is the HUSBAND of my wife's sister my brother-in-law? Or is he simply "the husband of my sister-in-law" and not my brother-in-law?
