Maybe I am just not quite understanding the site but I have had difficulty finding anyone in my family. I've done a fairly simple search on myself using my date of birth and location of birth. I've done similar searches for my brother with no luck and have only managed to find my mother. Is the site geared towards older records? I don't see another reason why my birth certificate wouldn't be on file.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
