In my opinion, you have conducted a type of "interview" with yourself, haven't you, when you recollect those memories.

The genealogy software that I use (Ancestral Quest) doesn't have "personal recollections" as a source type, but it does have "interview." In my case, I would cite "interview" as the source type and title the source "personal recollections of Mark" (dated of course.)
