Family Tree Corrections

Hello, I don't know if what I am asking is stupid but I was looking for a genealogist to look through my family tree on here and see if what family members I added were correct until I got quoted nearly £1000 which is ridiculous. So I was wandering if it's possible if someone has the time to go over my tree and see if everything is correct? I guess you will need actual access to real archives in person to link everything up and I know it's a big task but I will be grateful for whoever helps me out. I'm not looking for you to go through every single person but at least up to the end of the 18th century. Again, any help is much appreciated. Regards.

There is absolutely no need to pay that sort of sum. There are plenty of people (including myself) who would be perfectly happy to take a look at your tree (for nothing) and see whether you have made any obvious errors, if there are gaps in your source citations or if you have made assumptions which are overly optimistic. But you can do a great deal of the evaluation work yourself by working through every connection and making sure that you have the THREE pieces of separate documentary evidence for each fact which are seen as the gold standard of genealogical "proof". This will mean buying a fair few certificates, rather than relying on index entries.
