Can someone recommend a group in Braunschweig who would be willing to do a little family verification?

I have been searching for any document, story, et al which might pinpoint my Knoff family which details something more than Germany or Kingdom of Hanover. In once census, there appears to be some kind of notation above Germany which might be short for Braunschweig (Brunswick), East of Hannover itself.

What I need is someone to assist on where exactly to look or to somehow verify the family lived there in the early 1800's.
