I have a letter dated July 4th, 1864, from "City Prison", which I believe was Baltimore, MD. It is addressed to a Col "Doolly, or Noolly" and signed by Mary M. Terry. She mentions her mother, Mrs. Stockton of Princeton (?), New Jersey. It is obvious that Mary was a prisoner and was being moved from one area to another and would have been passing through her home town and wanted to see her mother. If this rings a bell with anyone, please contact me.
