Hi
Not sure what you mean by needing more info posted...?
If you are looking for a lookup, it might be useful to give us an idea (even just at state level) where he might have lived and what was his time frame. And maybe even an occupation.
The more information you can give when asking for information the better your chances of someone helping
If you are looking for help onn how to search what is available on Ancestry then you may be better to get me to move this to Message Boards > Topics > Ancestry.com > U.S. Records Collection where they deal with site issues.
Cheers

Re: U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989
First, Thank you Fiona for your help. I am looking for James E. Broxham in Cook County, IL., or surrounding area. Between 1885 to 1892 and after 1900. His occupation would be in the dairy department as a driver maybe. I am trying to get a better connection such as brothers with John D. Broxham and Harry R. Broxham. James immigrated 1885,Naturalized in IL. 1891, ,He was married to Belle Gordon in Chicago in 1892. Residence 1893 on Flournoy in Chicago. Residence in 1894/95 on Lexington St. Chicago, Milk dealer in 1900. What I don't know is if he is listed living with John or Harry. Or where is is after 1900.

Re: U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989
James doesn't appear in the Chicago city directories until 1888. He is in the 1901 directory, not in 1902 and then in 1903 there is an Isabella Broxham, wid of James. See the attached.

... And here is James E. Broxham with Harry and John in the 1889, 90 and 91 Chicago city directories. Notice there is also a William Broxham.

Oh how I just am so greatful. Been looking for addresses on specifically William and James. All BROXHAM's actually in the U.S. But I realize we need to start small and one at a time. (been having a problem with that). I do appreciate this. Great info. Any others like this? If you get a chance.
