No, the solder home does not list anything on his record. However, I have found a Chas. Rousseau listed as living in St. Ignace, Fourth Ward, in the Census of the state of Michigan 1894, this person is also listed in the Volume III of Civil War Soldiers living in Michigan in 1894.. How can I find out more about this Chas. Rousseau? I am 95% this is my Charles but I don't know how to get more information. I did send a request the National Archives to see if they have any Military records of him and I'm still waiting on that information.

I have checked all land and probate records with no luck. I will check on the tax records though.
