I'm at a loss as to how a record could be so obscure? I cannot find any documentation or proof that my father has ever existed. I know he wasn't adopted, this I'm sure of. My grandmother did in fact give birth to my father but nowhere does it show her having any children except one, who died at 1 day old. I've been searching for this for a very long time and it's so frustrating to say the least! I've talked to his sister who verifies my information. Please, please, please, if anyone can give me something else or somewhere else to look, I would be grateful. Here's what I have so far.
Father: John Harold Vodovec, DOB Apr, 15, 1933, Plaster Rock, New Brunswick
Grandmother: Violet Rankine, DOB July 21, 1912, Coles Island, Queens County, New Brunswick. She was married twice to Vodovec then Noftell
Grandfather: Antonio Vodovec DOB approx. 1888, Czechoslavakia, immigrated approx. in 1927. The only other names for him are Tony (Anthony/Antonio) and Helena/Helen.
I'm beginning to think that I need to hire someone to research this for me.
