Someone has provided False information. According to the 1910 census, my grandfather is 2 yrs old living with his mother and her husband (not his father).

Now on his 'Certificate of live birth' He lists the man we had always believed to be his father. But my grandfather provided the information for this 'Certificate' at nearly 35 years of age.

His application for a SSAN goes on to list South Africa as his place of birth.

It is getting very hard to determine what is true and what is not. Let alone try to figure out what lead to follow. Any hints on where else to look?
