I agree with chatterchit here! I have come across several people who appear to have jumped the gun on their family trees because some first names matched. I know for a fact that my great great grandfather never lived in western PA. How do I know? a few of his grand children (aunts and uncles of my mother) are alive and they told me!! But I have seen one person have him listed as living out there five years before he died on their family tree. (I'm still trying to figure out how they are related to me).

Just because someone has the same, first, middle and last name as a relative of yours, it does not mean they are related!
