has anyone done any research on this lineage?

this is all I have regarding them. I wonder if John fits in my tree, as I have a John who seems to have disappeared from it who fits the time frame...

John Cross of London who m. Mary Fisher on 19 Sep 1678 in Horslydown, Southwark, England. they removed to S. Carolina, U.S.A. where their children remained and married.

...On 19 September 1678 at Horslydown, Southwark, (London, England) Mary married John Cross, a Quaker cordwainer of London. They lived in London until 1682, when they emigrated to America. Cross died about December 1687. ...
...Mary Cross made her will on 28 August 1698 and died before the end of the year in Charlestown (the will was proved on 19 November 1698). Her children married and settled in South Carolina....

my John was a son of Edmond Crosse and Sarah __?__. John was born on 6 Aug 1654, just before Edmond and his family joined the Quaker faith. John's marriage and/or death isn't listed in the Quaker records, and I don't know whether he died young or is the John I found in London. a lot of the family moved towards that area of London across the centuries.

so I am trying to find out the parentage of this John of London, and if he proves to be part of the tree, then I will seek out the descendants, as well.
