I am researching a family member who is an 1851 Canadian census listed his family as being Lutheran. They were from Kingdom of Hanover but where specifically I can't tell. All records from this census forward only state two origins: Germany and Kingdom of Hanover. One census though has Bra? with the ? being either an m or n or something that can't be told.

How would one locate a record of birth for this person in 1820? I would guess their family was Lutheran as well. Any help would be appreciated.
