My gg grandparents were married in 1866 in the Ev. Lutheran Church in Winneconne Wisconsin by Minister Theodore Tachel. Recently found out that church was St. Johns then, and is now St. Pauls.

I have contacted the church, but sadly, they have no records prior to 1885, and are unsure where the records may have gone.

Is anyone out there familiar with this church, and might know where I may be able to find records, or even the Pastor? If not, does anyone know if there is a central location where records may have been sent (I have checked with the ELCA main office, and St. Johns was apparently not affiliated with them)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
