Thank you so much for your reply.
Mary Finnegan Flynn is our Grandmother, who we just found after 90 years of not knowing where she was buried. Unfortunately, our Mother, who passed away in 2012, never knew where her Mother was buried. Mary died in childbirth to our Mother, and our Mom was raised in St Anthony's Orphanage.
Catholic Orphnage's do not keep records of girls, they have records of boys (where we found our two uncles, my Mother's two brothers, who both died very young)
After many years of searching, we finally found where our Grandmother was buried...we put the stone there last year in her honor.
One note, if you're looking for a female releative from 80-100 years ago, always mention the male relative's name. Our Grandmother is not listed in the cemetery's records...her husband is, who purchased the plot. After finally searching under his name, we found out that she was the only one buried in the plot.
Thank you again for your reply and all the best with your research

Hi, My grandfather was given to St. John's on Wyalussing Ave. when he was 9 years old in 1906. He was transferred to St. Josephs when he was 12. I obtained photocopies of the pages of their ledger books from both homes with his admission information. I contacted the Phila Archdiocese Historical Research Center. I also inquired about Baptismal records and was able to get his Baptismal certificate.
