My ancestor was Alexander Kelley, the father of my great-greatgrandmother Sophronia Kelley.

Do you know if Alexander's father William was born in Massachusetts as he served with the Dracut, Massachusetts militia during the American Revoluntionary War? Also do you have any clue as to why they know that Nancy Dunbar was William Kelley's mother and there isn't any information about what William's father name was?
