I have an extensive family that came from that are of Ukraine. In this country we became Winokur,Winocur,Winocour,Winecour, Filer, Feiler,Fine, Rich,Kaplan,Kenter,Goldstein, Hurwitz,Portnoy,Markowitz,Goldman,Senders, Hecker,Cohn,Silver,Nock,Wolf,Smith,and many many more names. My grandmother's family Filer,Feilers,& Rich settled in Rock Island and Chicago areas. My grandfather's side the Winecours,Winocours,Winebergs,Goldsteins,Portnoys,Goulds settled in the Boston area. The Fines settled in New Jersery. My family came from Bielogorodka near Shepotovka,Zaslav,Sudilov,and Teofipol,and Krasistav in Vohlina or Wolhlina Gubernia Ukraine. I would love to hear from anyone that this may sound remotely familiar.
