I am heading to France for the month of September and was wondering if anyone could give me names or numbers of Huguenot Societies in Provonce.

Which part of Provence are you going to and which area are you researching? There are seveeral Societys down that way and they mainly deal with local research - but there are also some major sources and depending where you're going, there is a museum in that area also.

Thanks for responding Tony. I will be going to a place called Istres about 30 miles from Marseille and about 5 miles from Martigues. My email has changed to roulaine@charter.net. I would like to learn more about Huguenots in general and also learn more about my ancestry.
