Classification: Query
Surnames: Foree, Preston
I an trying to obtain further details about Charitee FOREE, who I believe married into the PRESTON family in or around Cork in the early 1800s. An elderly relative wrote (in 1980) "my mother's great grandmother was called Charitee FOREE and was proud of her Huguenot ancestry. She said her family were silversmiths and had some silver spoons with C.FOREE engraved on them and that she was told that an earlier ancestor had 'come over in a barrel of nuts'.

Any suggestions?
