Some exciting news for the Boundary Museum Society in Grand Forks.
After receiving a grant from the Regional district of Kootenay Boundary.
The society has announced that they will be opening a new Museum.
The group was recently shut down by the city of Grand Forks, after a dispute regarding funding.
Laura Sevenkoff, vice chair of the society says the city will not be involved with the new museum.
The group will be moving into the Frutoia School which is owned by the Dukhobor Community in Grand Forks.
It has yet to be decided weather or not artifacts from the old museum will be at the new location, as the society is still in the middle of a dispute with the city of Grand Forks regarding ownership of the pieces.
