Centennial celebrations honouring the Doukhobor communities in BC 1908 - 2008.

Join us in celebrating this unique community which has powerful roots from Russia and the Caucuses Mountains. The Doukhobors are known for their unbreakable Spirit and ongoing commitment to PEACE.

You will have the opportunity to experience the sharing of the historical and personal Doukhobor stories accompanied by prayer services, community feasts, the showcasing of artisans and culture...something not to be missed!

SATURDAY APRIL 26TH 2008
Evening celebration (Story telling, singing & feast)
Time: 6-9 PM (doors open at 5:30 with a traditional feast at 6pm followed by Cultural events from 7-9 PM)
Location: Crescent Valley Community Hall
Suggested donation: $10 - $15 (Partial proceeds will go to the Doukhobor Community to further develop cultural events)
