I'm trying to put names to a number of photos from about 1915-1925. I am a descendent of Havrila H Shukin (1877-1962) and Anastasia Osachoff (b: abt 1870-d: 1936). To my knowledge, both Shukin and Osachoff families originally settled in Vernoe Village south of Verigin with the Osachoffs (Dimitri and Paranya b: abt 1850-1860, along with sons Ivan D b: abt 1875, Wasyl b: abt 1880, and Peter b: abt 1888 and families) moving to the Brilliant area by 1911.
I'm also looking for some clearification on family tree info- I'm not sure whether Anastasia (Osachoff) Shukin was Dimitri's daughter or sister.
Incidently, I also have photos of a Sam Osachoff and a Verooska Osachoff and have no idea what the connection is. Can anyone enlighten me?
