LANDS - The Report outlines the history of the Krestova
LANDS from the day they were purchased by Peter V. Verigin in 1913 and covers in detail up to 1987. The Report was initially written to be presented at the Kootenay Committee on Intergroup Relations
Session on September 15, 1987, because of the current problems which arose between the Christian Community and
Brotherhood of Reformed Doukhobors, the
Sons of
Freedom and the government of British
Columbia. (1987 reprinted in 1994; 85 pages, Indexed).
2. DOCUMENTARY REPORT ON DOUKHOBOR
LANDS IN SASKATCHEWAN - Examines in detail all the negotiations between the Canadian Government and the Doukhobor delegation; the Homestead Act and the problems that arose with the land; the events that led up to the loss of the Doukhobor Lands; the cancellation of Doukhobor Land Reseves, etc; aftermath. Covers the period between 1898 and 1927. (Compiled 1989; 300 pages, fully indexed).

4. NAMES OF DOUKHOBOR IMMIGRANTS TO CANADA IN 1899 - Lists all the names of the Doukhobors who migrated to Canada in 1899. With the first ship arriving January 20, 1899, and the last (fifth) July 20, 1899. (1993 - 55 pages). Note: a 2nd edition (co-authored by Jonathan
Kalmakoff) covering the period 1898-1926 is anticipated for early 2001.
5. DOCUMENTARY REPORT ON THE DEATH OF PETER V. VERIGIN - Examines the Death Of Peter V. Verigin, et al, in a train explosion near
Farron, B.C. in 1924. Contains over 400 pages, fully indexed, with over 230 documents from the police files, with numerous illustrations and diagrams, and covering a period between 1924 and 1965. The Report is quite unique and one of its kind ever published. Many of the documents, if not all, came from restricted files in the Archives and the police. The Report examines all the investigations at the time of the explosion in detail, the CoronerÂ’s Inquest, other investigations that took place after, and the theories which were projected over the years, with some very definite conclusions. ARMS BY DOUKHOBORS - Examines the Burning of the
ARMS by Doukhobors in Russia On June 29, 1895. Contains two narratives in the Russian Language. (1995; Containing 72 pages).
8. LIST OF DOUKHOBORS
LIVING IN SASKATCHEWAN IN 1905 - The most complete list of Doukhobors since their migration to Canada in 1899. The list was prepared by Dominion Homestead officials for the 1905 Doukhobor Village Census. The book is divided into four parts. Each part represents a Colony. Each Colony is divided into villages and the people that lived in each village, their ages and marital status. This book is a must for a Genealogist, a Doukhobor searching for his roots, or for anyone who is interested in Doukhobor History in Canada. (1996; Containing over 260 pages; Indexed).
9. DOUKHOBOR PROBLEM OUTLINED BY S.S. SOROKIN - This document was written by Mr. Sorokin in 1963, as an agenda for the anticipated
Royal Commission or a Board of Enquiry into the so-called Doukhobor Problem. It is a short, but concise history of Doukhobors since his arrival amongst them in 1950 and ends in 1963. In it, from his point of view, he outlines the problems which arose between the
Sons of
Freedom and the governments of Canada and B.C. and other Doukhobors. (1st printing 1990, 2nd 1996; 150 pages; Indexed).
10. COLLECTION OF SELECTED HYMNS, SONGS AND POEMS - This book is in Russian language. (Published in 1999; contains 247 pages; indexed).
