Hi Michelle,

In response to your post, I am pretty certain that you are my first cousin. My grandfather is also Francesco Quattrociocchi, who died in 2002, just after his 91st birthday of April 17, (you're right--his birth year was 1911). Your sister is Brigitt and your brother is David (is he a great Toronto Baseball star?). I have a sister, Anna, and my father is Francesco's third son. Nonna Anita's (DePersis) mother died when she was a child and her father remarried in Frosinone, Torrice; Italy. The whole "clan" is from Torrice, Frosinone. It would be nice to hear from you and your sister. It's been since 1988 that I've seen you. Also, condolences regarding your mother's death. I hope you, Brigitt, and David are doing OK.

We are first cousins. I saw your mother and father at Uncle Domenic and Uncle Albert's funeral(s) last year.

I often wonder how you and Anna are doing. I remember grabbing Anna any time I could - she was so cute and I used to think of her as my live doll whenever the families would get together.

Thank you for the condolences and Brigette and David are doing very well.

Back to the family history: It's been very difficult tracking down names and dates for Nonna's family. Do you have any other information? Right now, Aunt Ida is my source for information.....

Wow! It was so nice to hear from you. I've been away from my computer for a while, so if you left any earlier messages, I had to delete them because of computer difficulties. Oh the so-called marvels of cyberworld, eh?

Yes, I couldn't be at the funerals because I was out of the city at around that time. I do regret not being there and seeing everybody, but at least I can get to say hello to you and everybody else via e-mail. I'm so happy about seeing your reply! I guess everyone has their own lives now, but I still wonder how everyone is doing--the last time I saw (almost) all of us gathered together was my wedding--and that was a LOOOONG time ago!

Yeah, Zia Ida is always a good source of information for such things. She keeps up-to-date and entertained about family history, but I know as much as you do right now. And, yup, my sister is still so cute! Must be those good genes--Ida is still an attractive, young looking woman, not to mention most of the "clan" is of "good-looking stock"! ;-)

By the way, I saw Brigitt's photo for the shoe ad. She still looks amazing! See, I told you we're of good stock! Through the ad, I tried to find a link with the store so I could communicate in some way with your sister, but it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack.

Anyway, dear cousin, thank you for keeping in touch and hope to hear from you again! I do apologize that I can't help you further regarding Nonna's side of the family, but I'll keep my ear to the ground. If I hear any additional info, I'll keep you posted.

We sure do have some excellent genes floating around our family, don't we? Nonno and Nonna did something right, lol.

Speaking of the marvels of cyberworld, I was searching a few years ago for info on Dad's family when out of the blue I get a message from Nello Quattrociocchi with two sentences : Hi Michelle. I'm your Dad's first cousin...from Italy.

I almost fell out of my chair. He's also a great source of info. Give me a week and I'll get his email address from Rosanna, okay?

Did you see my sister's modelling shoot in Chatelaine last year? I'm not sure which photo you were referring to. However, if you email me I will get you in touch with my big Sis in no time. She would just love to hear from you.

Until then,

Hugs

Michelle

Hello Michelle,

I think we are also related. Please look at our family tree.
