Mabel Widing of St. Paul, Minnesota was my great-grandmother. I have been trying to trace her family back to Sweden, but I don't know her parents names and haven't had any leads. If you have any information could help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

The webingers come from Abtenau, Austria. I believe they migrated to the US in 1918 or 1919 there are still webingers in Austria who are relatives. Rudolf and his family run a Hotel in Filzmoos or Abtenau. He has a cousin named Helmut I believe there are some in Minn. There are decendants in Mont, Wash and Ore

Hi Josh!
My name is Rebecka Widing and I live in Sweden. Have been doing a bit of genealogy and I've found one of my relatives in Minnesota. Her name was Thyra Widing and she was buried in the Lakeside Cementary.
Furthermore, the name Carl has been found in almost all Widing-relatives to me so I believe that it don't have to be a coincidence... Please send me an e-mail.

My family settled in St. Paul at the turn of the century. If you want to write to me I can fill you in on my family's history. The Widing name is Swedish, from the city of Orebro. It is a Military name. Our Family's original surnames were Larsson and Johansson

Do you know the names of Milton's and Albert's fathers or grandfathers? I am looking for info on Bahneman/Bahnemanns from St. Paul. The father was George Gottfried Bahneman, b. abt 1850, and Christine Sophia Siebert, b. abt 1853 or 1855. Some of their children were Carl/ Charles, (Cora) Louise, George Albert, Laura Minnie, Violet, Jeannette or Jennie, John, Elsie.

While researching I did find a nice site that lists some info about Loraine. http://www.findagrave.com I don't know yet if these are the Bahnemans I am looking for, but the name Albert was a fixture there.

Loraine Segal married Milton Bahnemann. Milton Bahnemann's Father is Albert Bahnemann Albert is the son of Ferdinand I believe.

Loraine and Milton had the following children:
Milton
Patricia (Patty)
Margaret (Peggy)
Eugene

I am tracing through the Eugene line of Loraine and Milton's children.

If you have any information on Albert that would be great.
