My g g g grandfather Strawder Wesley Long was BORN in Ripley Co Indiana in 1808. One of his brothers Simeon Irvin Long, was born in Jefferson Co Indiana in 1818. They built a log cabin in the primeval forests of Jefferson Co. Where they would eat their meals but would sleep in the block house at night with all the other few settlers, to be protected from the Indians. Strawders father, Abraham Long was born in Virginia in 1774. They were very early pioneers of Kentucky. Abraham Long married Ruth Ann House in Mercer Co KY in 1798. All their children were early pioneers of Jefferson Co IN, Ripley Co IN, Cumberland KY, and I am desperate to find the parents of Abraham Long. Can anyone help me?
