I have a lot of great old family pictures but most of them have been glued into a photo album. Does anyone know how to get unglued?

if these are the only copies - Don't ruin them. Make sure you at least scan/copy the pics and have them safe if you do ruin the originals. The pics that are glued in can be either cut out of the book or if you want to have the back de-glued that can be done with a solvent. Some can eat away the paper or the glue as well (it will probably also eat the picture as well) If it is so important to remove the picture and the glue, it is safer to have a good repro done by scanning the picture, and keep the original safe in the book.
