Hello -

I am scanning some old family photographs - most of which are images that are not key to documenting our family history, if you know what I mean. They aren't portraits or frame-worthy, just average photos, most of which weren't great quality to begin with.

What DPI would you recommend? I was using 300 DPI just to keep the file sizes down, but should they all be at 600 DPI - with that or more for the "keepsake" images?
