My Mom was an orphan in an institution and was a ward of the state till she turned 18. She said the orphanage was two tall white buildings in Huntington. She was there from 1928 until ?????
Woodford was the name she took from the last family she lived with in Lost Creek. She was given a birthdate of 3/10/28.
