My father, Melvin Olson, spent time in both orphanages. He was orginally in Twin Valley (the orphanage was burned to the ground) and was transferred to Lake Park. I am trying to find out if there is any information on the two institutions - this is a part of my dad's life that he does not talk much about.

His mother died when he was 7 and his father sent him and his brothers to the orphanage. My father's name was actually Olsen when at the time he was there.

My father and his brothers would have been there in 1925 - 1932 time frame.

Any help would be appreciated.
