New Orleans Female Orphan Asylum, Clio Street (Louisiana) 1916-1918

Does anyone know who might hold the records for this orphanage from about 1916 through 1922? My grandmother was there during that period. I am hoping her records contain the names of her father and mother and perhaps herr mother's maiden name. So far all I have is one census that shows her parents listed as James H. Reynolds and Mary E Reynolds, they lived in Lower Monticello and Brookhaven in Lincoln County, Mississippi in 1910. According to my grandmother, the father left the family looking for work and sent for them after he said he found work in New Orleans, LA. After my great grandmother arrived in New Orleans with my grandmother and her siblings (by train) they were abandoned. My great grandfather never showed up to collect them and they were left to homeless aid and took ill shortly after. My grandmother and two brothers were sent to separate orphan asylums, my grandmother's baby sister was taken in by a detective Carroll and his wife. My grandmother was told her mother died and her father didn't want them. I can't get any information from Mississippi without knowing the mother's maiden name...which I can't locate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
