Hoping somebody out there can help me! I have recently started tracing my family tree. I am looking for record of orphanages in Bolton in 1908. I know there were 3, Eden House, Edgeworth House and Chadwicks, but do not know where to start in trying to find information or records. I am not even sure these are availiable online?

I have a 1911 census return which shows my Great Grandmother as an 'inmate' which I presume means she was in a orphanage at this time. There is however no address.

If anyone can help or knows more about this I would be most grateful for your help or advice.
