my father was at the Orphanage from some time after 1911 to approximately 1920 and his sister was in the girl's orphanage. From my father's records a Miss A M Stone was in a position of authority in the orphanage and had a major beneficial effect on his life. It also appears that T Edmund Harvey MP, a prominent Leeds Quaker, had some influence on the home. The buildings are still there and appear to be for residential use. We have no photos but do you know if there are any written records relating to the occupants of the orphanage?
