Hi,

l have found my Grandmother and her cousin in the Catholic Orphanage in Walthamstow in the 1901 census but there doesn't seem to be much information about it at all, and seems there were no records kept. There is a mention on the British History Website but not much at all, what l was wondering does anyone know at what ages the two girls would have left the Orphanage and would they have been placed into domestic service.
