Anyone have knowledge of the names of the Orphanages in Hamburg in 1903? Or where would an orphan be taken?
Also, were the children placed in foster homes? and how to find the names of the foster parents?
Where are these records kept now?
Referring to William Kahler, born 1900 Hamburg, and mother died 1903, brought to orphanage by Aunt. Also 2 older siblings same info needed.
