LEXINGTON - A graveside service for Gladys C. Muston Taylor, 94, of Lexington was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at Lexington Cemetery with Rev. Reuel Cooper of Lexington officiating.
Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday, Sept. 18, in Waco.
She was born Feb. 21, 1913, to Charlie Muston and Emma P. Nettles in Lee County.
She married John Taylor on Nov. 30, 1939.
A lifelong Lee County resident, Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and was a member of Lexington United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Taylor; and six sisters, Erma Thompkins, Ima Pounders, Stella Jones, Mollie “Shorty” Quinney, Nona Taylor and Pauline Reynolds.
Survivors are a daughter, Pat Lerche and husband Ewald of Lexington; two grandchildren, Patti Lerche of Lexington and Melanie Brown and husband Wynn of Waco; and three great-grandchildren, Emily, Allison and Andrew Brown of Waco.
