THORNDALE - Clarence Gilbert Patschke, 84, of Thorndale died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007 at Scott & White Hospital in Temple.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Providence Funeral Home with Pastor Jon Bielfeldt officiating. Burial followed at Taylor City Cemetery.
Mr. Patschke was born July 9, 1923 in Thorndale to John Gus Patschke and Selma Wiegmann Patschke.
On Feb. 10, 1946, he married Hope Daniels.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert John and Elmo Otto; a sister, Gladys; his wife, Hope Patschke; and a granddaughter, Ginger Patschke.
Survivors include his children, Clifford Patschke and wife Janice of Thorndale, Jimmy Patschke and wife Liz of Livingston, Milton Patschke of Round Rock, daughter Trish Jones and husband George of Flower Mound, and Patrick Patschke and wife Charlene of Taylor; grandchildren, Eric Arnett of Tyler, Gil Patschke of Livingston, and Justin and Lynsie Patschke of Taylor; and a great-grandchild, Parker Arnett of Tyler.
Pallbearers were Kirby Richter, Bruce Richter, Michael Forbes, Earl Wuensche, Ernest Patschke, and Harvey Patschke.
Honorary pallbearers were Justin Patschke, Lynsie Patschke, Gil Patschke, Eric Arnett, Robert Daniels, Deanne Maples, Gary Patschke, Newton Butts, and V.F.W. Post 4009 of Thorndale.
