Please help with search on the name of Daniel Beebe.

I have a record showing William Beebe of Nantucket born around 1776 and died in R.I. on 2/22/1864, so according to what I have he probably wouldnt have served in the revolution. However, I have his father listed as Daniel Beebe, born about 1747, married to Lydia Stanton and died before 1796. I have his father listed as Daniel Beebe also (maybe Sr.) and have him born on 12/11/1716 in New London and died 1/22/1775 at sea off coast of Africa. I have his wife listed as Hannah Smith. I have Daniel's father listed as Samuel Beebe, born 1687 in New London, married Sarah Tubbs on May 29, 1710, and died Oct. 7, 1783.
