I am seeking information and memories of my uncle Dennis Jones to include in a book I am writing.

Dennis was born on the 23rd July 1924 in Mount Pleasant Road, Masborough, Rotherham to Thomas & Doris Jones.

He attended Park Street School and Kimberworth Secondary School and after leaving school worked at Rother Boiler Company, before been called in 1942.

I would be interested in anyone who known him and his friends, especially Les Merrick, Doug and Walt Slack, John Ogden, Roma Martin, Doreen Freeman (nee Wheway), george Foers or Elise & Henry Hawkridge, plus anyone who served with him in the various regiments he was attached to, before he was killed in Italy in 1944.
