I have been to Yorkshire Family History Fair today and was looking on the Rotherham FHS stand. I picked up some of the leaflets that was on the stand and a very Arogant Person from the society said "you can't take all those".

I thought societies went to these fairs to help people and to promote their societies.

This is not the first time I have had this attitude from a member of Rotherham HFS. The last time was at a Family History Fair at Rotherham Library.

If you cannot get people that are willing to help others and can be pleasent to members of the public please do not put stands on at the fairs. The attitude that I and a few other people I have spoken to have found on your stands is arrogant and patronising. When people have asked for help they have been treated as if they are idiots. This is not nice in any circumstances and also gives Rotherham a bad name.
