I am a ggg grandson of Jacob Peak of Anderson County. I believe that his father was John Peak. I am looking for the will of John Peak. I have received information third hand that he left a will in NE Tennessee. I believe that he died sometime between 1800 and 1810 but it is possible that it is later. The will may have been in the name John Peach or John Peack. Peek and Peake are also possibilities. It was reported to me that the will identified his daughter as Esther Renfo (Renfro/Rentfro). John had two sons in NE Tennessee. Jacob Peak was in Anderson County and Abel Peak in Morgan County in that time frame. I would have expected that he died in Anderson County but records on deaths weren’t kept there until about 1830. Can anyone help me?
